– lark flight calls are amongst the rather difficult calls to distinguish
– Eurasian Skylarks utter different calls on migration, not seldom even sing
– most frequent to hear are these three:
1
– a hard, rolling, atonal two-syllable call of 0,15s length
– the call consists of two different trills, the second almost twice as long (longer elements)
2
– a series of 5-15, partly different, narrow modulated elements with harmonic partials
3
– a piercing, fast modulated downslur of 0,2-0,25s length
