– medium-sized passerine, slightly larger than a Common Starling<\/a>
\n– nocturnal migrant, migration may continue during the day
\n– very vocal<\/p>\n

– size and flight pattern resembles Song Thrush<\/a>
\n– small groups or single birds difficult to distinguish at distance
\n– at peak migration time, however, usually in larger groups than Song Thrush<\/a>
\n– flocks usually comprise 1-10 individuals but often considerably more
\n– occasionally in mixed flocks with Song Thrush<\/a>, Fieldfare<\/a> or Common Chaffinch<\/a>
\n– flight pattern like Song Thrush<\/a>, sometimes reminiscent of Eurasian Skylark<\/a>, fast (especially wingbeat), quite straight<\/p>\n
