\n– medium-sized passerine, slightly larger than Common Blackbird<\/a>
\n– nocturnal migrant, migration may continue during the day
\n– migrates singly or in loose flocks, often mixed with Redwing<\/a><\/p>\n

>> FLIGHT >>>>><\/strong><\/p>\n

– usually a few single birds or small flocks of 1-5 individuals announce the migration of this species, which then easily leads to flocks up to 50 individuals, often many more
\n– in mixed migration flocks usually easy to identify due to flock appearance, calls, size of birds etc.
\n– flocks often seem restless, nervous: if one bird picks up, they all pick up
\n– well-coordinated in flight manouveurs
\n– loose formations, usually not as dense as Redwing<\/a><\/p>\n

– quite large thrush, long-winged and long-tailed
