– utters different calls in flight
– on long distance flights most typical a short two-voiced whistle, 0,2s in length
– distinct shape in spectrogram: a narrow upper, and parallel, a broader modulated lower band
– 1st partial dominant frequency band between 3,1 and 3,9kHz
– the 2nd partial usually the ‘loudest’
– inharmonic partials
– very similar to Red-throated Thrush but the lower band is much broader modulated
